About Us

The Thomas J. Rubino Academy (TJRA), formerly known as the Mercer County Alternative High School is designed to assist students who are experiencing difficulties in the traditional school environment.

TJRA offers an alternative educational program which strives to establish a nontraditional, yet highly effective learning environment. The program helps students realize their life goals, talents, abilities, and career interests.

The educational services for TJRA are provided by Comprehensive Educational Resources (CER), an educational service provider created to assist New Jersey’s public schools, private schools, and state agencies to meet their ever increasing needs and demands. The education program is delivered at the Alfred Reed School in Ewing, NJ.
